Richard Abila ( Father ) started playing guitar while in HS in 1993 and has strong musical influence of George Strait , George Jones, Merle Haggard , Alan Jackson to name just a few. He plays the Traditional Country music from the past and will remain playing this style music If someone will listen. He enjoys getting to play music with his son and good friend Sam "Samtana " Lopez.
The Abila Band is out of Stephenville Tx that consist of a father and son duo.
Aaron Abila ( Son ) started playing guitar at the early age of 9 years old and has become a very good muscian who is currently writing his own music and does play many of the top 40 Texas country songs out. He has strong musical influences of Randy Rogers , Koe Wetzel , Turnpike Troubadours , Parker McCollum to name a few.
